Add an existing project

Opens a dialog to browse for an existing project and add it to the selected solution.

Add an existing directory

Opens a dialog to browse for a directory to add to the selected project or directory. The directory will be added as a shortcut if it is not a child of the project root directory if a project is selected, or to the directory if a directory is selected.

Add an existing file

Opens a dialog to browse for a file to add to the selected project or directory. The file will be added as a shortcut if it is not a child of the project root directory if a project is selected, or to the directory if a directory is selected.

New directory

Creates a new child directory in the currently selected project or directory. For automatic and manual directories, the new directory is also created on disk.

New file

Creates a new file in the the currently selected project or directory. When saving the file, the path of the parent directory will be suggested by default.

Rename

Rename the selected solution, project, directory or file. For solutions and projects, renaming does not change the solution or project file on disk. For files and non-virtual directories, the corresponding file or directory on disk is also renamed.

Settings

Displays the selected Solution Explorer's item's settings, allowing to change an item's specific settings.

Add an existing solution

Opens a dialog to browse for an existing solution and add it to the selected solution.

New solution

Creates a new solution, as a child of the selected solution if applicable, and shows a wizard to specify it's name and location.

New project

Displays a wizard to create a new project, which will be added as a child of the selected solution if applicable.

Save

Save the selected project or solution's changes.

Save as...

Save the selected project or solution to the specified filename.

Remove

Remove the selected file or directory from it's parent directory or the selected project or solution from it's parent solution.

Close

Close the selected project or solution.

Open project/solution

Shows a dialog to browse for an existing solution or project and open it in the Solution Explorer.
